The Making of the Plum Blossom Hairband for Babies - Custom Order

A whole lot of plum blossoms were handmade by needle and wet felting method using the best quality merino wool from Japan.

The prettiest were selected.

Seed beads were then hand sewn using the best quality silk thread.

                             

The flowers were then hand sewn with silk thread onto a elastic band and knotted individually.

The finished product comes in a tin container for good storage and keeping out dust.

Packed and ready for gifting. Gift tag available upon request.

My little darling does not have much hair at 4 months old and was often mistaken to be a baby boy. So Mommy decides to dress little Genevieve up a bit by making her some hair accessories. Mommy shall make little Genevieve a hairband, a Plum Blossom Hairband.

The Rose Choker - A Multi purpose piece of accessory

This fully blossomed Rose is an elegant piece of art to adorn you on a romantic evening out. It is lovingly needle felted with merino wool (therefore soft to the touch) and hang off 88cm of black velvet embellished with grey Swarovski bicone crystals. Seed beads were carefully hand sewn onto the centre of the rose.
This choker can also be used as a bracelet. The rose can also be removed from the ribbon. Attached it to a ponytail holder or a pin and Hey! you've got yourself a new ponytail holder or a brooch! A multi-purpose piece of accessory!

Sweet Little Bird

Beneath this snowy mantle cold and clean
The unborn grass lies waiting for its coat to turn to green

This Little Bird has just learnt to fly… so tired is it that it rest on a little branch… This needle felted little bird hangs off 65cm of yarn with 7 felt beads of various colours and diameter. The little branch was picked from the bougainvillea plant at my parents' house. It was cleaned thoroughly and dried in an oven.♥
